The school is located in Perseverance (between Esk and Toowoomba) on a beautiful property close to Ravensbourne National Park.

Cooking classes are run by celebrated and multi awards winning chef Bruno Loubet.

I love Bruno. He is one of the most talented and experienced chefs with one eye on the pot and one eye on the vegetable patch.

Bruno is a very special Chef. He is both technically skilled and creative. He also happens to be one of the nicest people I have ever worked with, always friendly ,calm and positive.

Australia's gain is the U.K.'s loss. While Bruno is likeable and self-effacing, his impact and influence on the restaurant scene eclipses that of many high-profile London chefs.

Creative Workshops

At Willow Vale Cooking School we plan our calendar around the garden and tailor our classes based on what vegetables are in season, reinforcing our beliefs around living a more sustainable lifestyle.

Private Sessions

Willow Vale Cooking School is available for private hire for small groups.
Whether you have been tasked with the important job of organising a party or just looking for a unique experience with friends we can tailor classes to your needs!

Bruno & Catherine Loubet

Bruno and Catherine had a career in hospitality in the UK for over 30 years with many successful and awarded restaurants in London and also Brisbane in Australia. They decided to open a cooking school on their return to Australia in 2017. They are passionate about sustainability. Bruno is an avid gardener and keen to put vegetables as the centre of attention on his dishes.

Homegrown Cooking

We want Willow Vale Cooking School to reflect the growing movement towards a more sustainable lifestyle, respecting what we eat and showcasing the provenance and production techniques.
