About the Workshops
At Willow Vale Cooking School we plan our calendar around the garden and tailor our classes based on what vegetables are in season, reinforcing our beliefs around living a more sustainable lifestyle.
Bruno will cook and decipher the recipes giving lots of advices, details and “tricks of the trade” making it as clear and enjoyable as possible.
You will have the opportunity to get involved in helping Bruno or stand back, watch and enjoy if you prefer during the 2 and ½ hours workshop.
This will be followed by a 3 courses lunch.
We provide homemade Kombucha, chilled infusions, filtered rainwater and tea/coffee, and you are more than welcome to bring any additional drinks.
Workshops run from 9.30am until 3pm

With the reminiscent of the second World war, food was something taken very seriously in the Loubet home. Everyday my mother, cooked simple food but always with a lot of care, good ingredients, that were cooked and seasoned properly.

I love bread! Maybe a bit too much for my health! Historically bread goes back very far in time. Historians say up to 8000BC in the Middle East. Of course, over time, techniques have been developed and lots of recipes were created around the world.
Brunch dishes are often simple and use eggs. In this workshop we’ll go away from the usual crushed avocado on toast. We want to show you some very “cool” delicious dishes that will surprise your guests.

The complexity of Vietnamese cooking is legendary but for us the “clean balanced” flavours are just mesmerising.
The minimal use of dairy, the abundance of fresh herbs make it a healthy cuisine. In this course we will cook three iconic savoury dishes and a sweet one.
The festive period is the time of year when you like to share great moments around a table with friends and family. It’s can also be one of the most stressful and busy times of the year.
Lots of planning and decisions! In this workshop we are learning not only to cook delicious impressive “Fayre” but also to plan, and minimize stress!
